Who We’re Looking For

Join Us in Building a Sovereign Future

The Tuvalu Sovereign Vision Project is not just a set of technologies. It is a living covenant between people, land, water, and story. Guided by the stewardship values of care, dignity, and regeneration, we are building a climate-resilient, culturally-rooted infrastructure model for small island nations. But we cannot do this alone.

We are seeking aligned individuals and partners who understand that true innovation honors the past, listens deeply, and serves the next generation. If you are values-led, grounded, and ready to co-create sacred systems for sovereignty, this may be your call.

Core Profiles We Seek

1. Project Coordination & Systems Stewards

  • Backgrounds: Project management, logistics, civic planning, or field ops.

  • Why we need you: To help translate the vision into daily operations across water, food, power, and communications systems. You’ll keep timelines steady, people connected, and the work accountable.

  • Ideal: Calm under pressure, rooted in local relationships, familiar with Tuvaluan governance or Pacific regional collaboration.

2. Guardian & Arbor Technicians

  • Backgrounds: Open-source AI, Python, embedded systems, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, local mesh networking.

  • Why we need you: To help bring Guardian and Arbor online as monitoring companions and civic educators. You’ll build resilient, offline-first systems that serve real people.

  • Ideal: Experience with DeepSeek, Whisper, or open AI stacks. Fluent in ethical reasoning. Willing to learn from elders.

3. Infrastructure & Utility Engineers

  • Backgrounds: Civil, mechanical, renewable energy, water systems, or modular construction.

  • Why we need you: To co-design and deploy systems like Vai Tapu (desalination), Vai Koko (lagoon water storage), and Te Lā o te Namo (floating solar).

  • Ideal: You respect natural limits and design for resilience. Prior experience in SIDS or off-grid settings is a major asset.

4. Cultural & Ritual Coordinators

  • Backgrounds: Anthropology, Pacific heritage, cultural preservation, oral storytelling, or ritual design.

  • Why we need you: To embed meaning into the infrastructure—so it speaks with the voice of Tuvalu and serves the soul as well as the system.

  • Ideal: You walk easily between tradition and adaptation. You believe ritual is infrastructure.

5. Youth & Elders Engagement Leads

  • Backgrounds: Community organizing, education, facilitation, or pastoral care.

  • Why we need you: To help steward the next generation of caretakers and ensure every build honors those who came before.

  • Ideal: You are fluent in both encouragement and accountability. You’re trusted by those you serve.

6. Field Deployment & Maintenance Crew

  • Backgrounds: Construction, plumbing, solar installation, field logistics, marine anchoring.

  • Why we need you: To place, secure, and test critical systems in real-world conditions. You’ll be the hands that make resilience real.

  • Ideal: You’ve built under pressure before and know how to improvise respectfully.
